Chartered in 1990, DANK Chapter 71, Inc. is an organization dedicated to the preservation of our German heritage, the language, traditions, culture, and music. Meetings are generally held the 3rd Wednesday of each month at The Brewerie at Union Station, 123 W. 14th St., at 6:30 p.m. Those wishing to do so may arrive before the meeting for dinner (at 5:00 p.m.) and will need a reservation, which can be made by emailing dankerie1990@gmail.com or calling (814)456-9599. Meetings are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. You can see the schedule of meetings and other events on our calendar below.

DANK Chapter 71 is also responsible for the annual German Heritage Fest, held each September at St. Nick's Grove. Check out the German Heritage Fest page for more information including dates, times, and entertainment. The festival was founded in 1996 to educate the community about German culture through music, food, and dance.
